The famous “Merry-Go-Round of Life” from Howl’s Moving Castle was one of my initial inspirations for starting this Joe Hisaishi arranging project. I tuned the guitar to a simple drop D, kept the original key of the piece, and maintained many of the inner voices. It makes for a relatively challenging arrangement, but relatively guitaristic, and a very faithful one to how I hear the classic soundtrack.
